It all began with a lost scarf...
Within months of designing a replacement and receiving non-stop compliments from friends and strangers, Elizabeth’s handmade, individually dyed velvet scarf was picked up by the taste-making buyers at Barney’s New York and The Whitney Museum Gift Shop.
Elizabeth has combined her loves for design and entrepreneurship since she was a little girl. Inspired by her Grandmother, a professional painter, Elizabeth started making and selling things at the age of eight. Her first product line was a variety of handmade macramé bracelets bought by a local gift shop in her tiny hometown of Hudson, Ohio. A young Elizabeth rode her bike to fulfill orders and spent her earnings on penny candy. From there Elizabeth went on to study painting at Hartwick College and decided to build a self-made career by taking her dreams to New York City.
Elizabeth believes a scarf is the ultimate accessory, an outfit-changer that brightens the face like a great shade of lipstick, makes traveling fun and chic, screens us from the cold and helps us edit what’s shown and what’s covered in an easy, one-size, timelessly style-able item.
Private showroom events and trunk shows focus on the art of tying her exclusive designs and intimate details regarding her personal design process and inspiration.
